Am I ovulating?

So we've always BD during the time glow says I'm ovulating and some days either side, we've also been using OPKs but Iv struggled to work out if it's positive. However we've been trying fir 5 months with no luck. So this month Iv been looking at my CM and the last 2 days and it's very stretchy egg white in texture, could this mean in fact I'm ovulating earlier than most, CD 11? Usually I have a 38 days cycle do this would be really early? What do you think, is it where we've been going wrong?!
