My doctor let me be on this for close to seven years, even though I expressed concerns about rumors I heard that it causes infertility. Now I have been off all birth control for about 2 years and I have very regular periods. I have had ultra sounds that indicate no cysts. As far as I can tell I do ovulate. I have no history of miscarriages or infertility that I know of....
