Visitors with a 1 month old?

This is our first, and my five best girl friends who live all over the country would like to fly in for the weekend when he will be one month old. They plan to stay in a hotel. I immediately thought it would be fantastic, but thought I should check with some moms who have done this before! Will we be ready for weekend visitors?

Yeh one month is fine. Well it was for me. If I can give any advice on visitors it would be ask them to stay away for the first 7-8 days when you get home. It can be VERY overwhelming and stressful when you come home with this new baby and all Those postnatal hormones. I remeber my dad picked my daughter up out of Moses basket when Id just got home when he came to visit and I started to cry and get so over whelmed because of it I wanted everyone To stay away.

But a month you will be a pro by then and have mother hood to a newborn down to a tee
