I will right a post and notice some kind error, spelling or grammatical. I wish there would be a way to correct the original post instead of adding a comment to it stating the error.

Believe me - I agree. Given how often I post and how often I have typos. It's just a really tricky engineering fix. (Facebook didn't even have it for years and years). It's something we are striving for.
