Is 26wks too early?

I'm having my baby shower June 27 I'll be 26wks is that too early?

My mom is planning it - so I'm not gonna tell her no.. Plus lots of time!

Not too early! It gives you time to get everything set up to do returns or exchanges if you get duplicates and time to make purchases you need and didn't get at the shower. You get to take your time nesting and it's so nice to not feel rushed and just be able to relax in those final weeks

I'm not having a baby shower it's not a common thing to do here in the UK but my cousin who is always trying to keep up with the jones's did a baby shower. Hers was planned for when she was 32 weeks but she had to bring it forward to 28 weeks because she was told she would have baby in the next two weeks.

In the end though her baby didn't come till she was 35+3 weeks.

I had mine early because we were moving! :) My mom had hers when she was 24 weeks and she actually went into labor 4 weeks later! He was a super preemie, but she had the nursery together so she only had to focus on seeing him at the hospital. I do everything early because preterm labor runs in our family. Everyone in my family has had preterm labor with at least one of their kids. At least you'll be prepared!(:

I had my baby shower when I was 23 weeks. It gave me time to get the nursery ready and to make sure I had everything I needed or wanted for the baby. Plus it's when everyone was absolutely available.

I'm having 2 baby showers (my family doesn't really get along with his family) and I'm going to be 33 weeks and 36-37weeks for them and to be honest I'm nervous that they might be too late.... Everything is going well so far but preterm labor runs on both sides of our families....

Yes, I think it's too early. Atleast wait until your 7 1/2 or 8 months, but then again it is ur baby shower so u can decided to do it whenever. There's nothing set in stone saying when to have your baby shower, that's just my opinion.

I had mine at 28 weeks and it's a good thing because I had my son unexpectedly at 31 weeks. I think 26 weeks is fine.
