How do you know it's the real thing? :)

Personally, I've always thought that the whole "one" thing was depressing. What if your "one" dies before you meet them or early on in your relationship? What if your "one" is married and has a life with someone else??

So I don't believe there's a soul mate out there for anyone. A good relationship is made by two good people who have mutual trust, understanding, compassion for each other and open communication. That's all you need. If you have that, you're good as gold :)

I personally believe that there are soul mates. :) and no one can tell you how you know,
When you know you know.
:) it can happen at the most unexpected time,
With the most unexpected person. Like I never would have guessed that I would fall in love with my best friend, he is my soul mate. He brings out the best in me and supports me in everything.

For us...we just knew. He told me on our first date that he was going to ask me to marry him one day. a year later, and he kept that promise. 
He was and still is everything I want or need. I couldn't have designed a more perfect man for me.

You'll just know! In my case i met my Husband online and we spoke over the phone for months i knew we had a connection there But the moment i seen him, BOOM it hit me like a ton of bricks i KNEW he was the man i was gonna marry I even said it out loud

There's a mutual understanding..you both will feel it.. Mine felt it before me. .. Once I felt it it hit me hard.. And we have experienced a lot of separation cause he's in the military.. Basically your heart and head will agree there will be no internal argument.. Good luck
