Gofundme for house???

Would creating a gofundme thing to help us buy a house be selfish....not alot of people know about me and.my husband trying to get a house...but we short of like 2 thousand dollars...and i see people use go fund me alot...but i dont want everyone to judge me i watched my mom and dad constantly struggle and barrow money from my family....so i get really uncomfortabel asking people for money...so before i try it do yall thing its selffish
