Can preseed cause a miscarriage?

I think the deal with preseed and equivalents is that they are NOT spermicides, rather than they actually help sperm as such. Normal lubes like ky may cause a barrier which doesn't allow sperm through but the chemical make up of preseed is more similar to fertile cm. I asked my dr this after mc and he told me that mc are actually quite common (25%) and not caused by the lubricants. The lubricants aren't miracle workers, they just help the bd along. 
Sperm that may not be  genetically sound (eg has a trisomy) can still be perfectly good swimmers and fertilise the egg. Or the problem may lie with the egg (much more common given one possible egg vs one in a million ish sperm to that gets to the egg). So in short, no, preseed doesn't cause mc.

I don't know how accurate this is- But food for thought. I have read that using preseed can assist sperm that would not normally get to the egg have a chance to implant. Does that make sense? I'm bad at getting my words to match my brain. 
Second rate sperm gets a boost- which can then implant- and then miscarry due to it never being viable in the first place.

Just food for thought- not sure of accuracy.
