How many of you all! Feel is it ok for the grandmother and aunt to kiss your child on the lips?(I feel it is the most disgusting thing to do because we all got different germs and mouth I DONT know if they have herpes or whatever)

Lol I'm from a kissy on the lips family... It don't bother me.. I havnt gotten anything from them lmao... And if they have a cold or cold sore, we kiss on the forehead.. ( we kiss them, they don't kiss us) idk it's just normal to me

I grew up kissing my mother on the lips, seldom my dad and grandpa. Of course there's a age where it's kinda weird but I think it's fine. I'm 20 years old and occasionally I may still kiss my mom on the lips 💁

I'm the only person my son allows to kiss him on the mouth. It's cute, but at the same time, I'm relieved he won't let just anyone kiss his mouth. :)

I think the only time its okay for you or  the childs father to kiss them on the lips is while there little but it should never be okay for anyone else to and ill probably ball them out if this happens when my little boy decides to make his apperance.

The cheek is cool, but not on the lips. Oral herpes spreads easily this way unfortunately. Even if a person does not have a visible cold sore, it can still spread.

I personally think that kissing someone on the lips should only be done with your SO. But its how you're raised I guess, I grew up with kissed on the cheeks, where as my boyfriends family, all the nieces and nephews kiss their parents on the lips. But only their parents. Idk it's weird to me

I'm chicana(mexican) and it is so normal for us but usually we kiss on the cheeks. Its a cultural thing I guess.
