Light Spotting?

I am 7 weeks along and just noticed very light brown/clear spotting today with light cramps and bloating. Anyone else have this? Thanks!!

Noticed brownish discharge earlier today. Turned to dark red after a few hours with light cramping on left side. Also felt like fainting a few times.  Praying I don't miscarry again. I'm 6 weeks. My blue eyed blondie needs a brother or a sister :)

Also brown indicates old blood. As long as it's not heavy (doc says fill a pad an hour) and red...you should be ok.

Experienced the same exact thing just a few hours ago. Light spotting. Very pink. I had my 1st ultrasound this morning and they said the baby looked great with HR of 140. I called my doc this evening because I was scared. He told me that since I was 7 weeks and the baby looked fine...it's probably nothing. That perhaps the baby and the placenta burst a blood vessel. I checked before going to bed and it stopped. Hope it never comes back! So scary. I suppose only worrying about it just causes unneeded stress. Apparently it's common in early pregnancy.

I hope you'll be ok. If you are concerned, call your doctor. Sometimes it just is reassurance that everything is fine.

I noted brownish discharge for a week now and it makes me a little nervous. I'm only expecting one child this time and I had twins 14 months ago. I will call my midwives tomorrow and just let them know what's going on. I heard that this can be normal during first trimester and only worry if it the discharge looks bright red.
