First ultrasound

Hi ladies- i just had my first prenatal appointment and had a vaginal ultrasound. I'm 6+4 days and heard heartbeat. However I had spotting on my underwear and had blood on the tissue when I wiped (sorry if TMI). My doctor said it's normal and that it should stop tonight or tomorrow, but I'm still worried.. Has this happened to any of you?

I'm scheduled to do another ultrasound 2 weeks later... Hopefully I can request a standard ultrasound. I find vaginal ultrasound is intrusive and uncomfortable :/
