Is it ok to go through your partners phone if you have a suspicious that they are doing something they shouldn't be doing?

If they are acting secretive you have every right to invade their privacy to protect yourself !

My husband has nothing to hide permission or not I look in his phone I use it, not with suspicion but it the norm to grab the phone that's closest to us now when I find something then I ask right away same with him. Communication and honesty is very important to us.

I used to check his phone all the time since we only saw each other weekends, he knew I was going to so he would delete stuff. I didn't check his phone for about 4 months and when I did he didn't have any msgs with girls, in fact he let's me know when a random number calls or texts him. But he had porn in his history, I didnt mind at all but it did make me feel bad that he would try to hide it at first. Now I don't check his phone what so ever, I check his fb once in a while and he himself logged in his email on my phone so I could get all his emails. But I mean if you really wanna just be sure, just go for it. If he goes crazy and gets mad about you doing it without asking then maybe he is hiding something, I understand the whole 'privacy' thing but you're in a relationship now. I would go through it, if I found something I would ask. He goes through my phone even though I don't like it (only because it's mine and I like to have something I don't have to share).
