Permed hair?

Hello ladies. I am wondering if any of you have had or do currently have permed hair? I am considering getting one. My hair is in pretty decent health. It has been bleached w box dye underneath, my stylist said she is getting me a perm for bleached hair.  Can anyone explain the pros & cons? Did it damage your hair? Did you get it on top of bleach?

I perm my hair, hubby prefers it curly.  It does damage it so i only do it once a year, my hair is really long and i use mouse so it stil looks good though i got it done last June.  Best advice, and ask your stylist, i wait avweek and then deep condition it, because it really drys it out.

I love perming my hair it looks so natural and makes me feel gorgeous. The only problem is when it starts to grow out the you look a tad silly . It is very hard on your hair but a good stylist will give you products to protect your hair.

I permed my hair in 10th grade....it looked terrible. And took forever to get back lol

My cousin gotten a curly perm first few week month look nice after a while looks all unhealthy and bad !! If you have healthy hair now keep it that way but good luck

Perming  can damage your hair really bad. My mom got perms for years and now her hair is really thin and wirey, when it used to be straight and smooth.
