Mirena IUD affects fertility?

I do believe that the Mirena has totally messed up my body. Anyone else have a hard time conceiving after removing Mirena? I had mine removed in February and I swear it's completely screwed up my cycle.

I think Mirena has definitely affected my fertility. I had it for about 10 months and had it removed in April 2014. In the beginning I had VERY irregular cycles, but after 5 months they settled down and now I'm quite regular! I'm on Cycle 10 and still not pregnant    I do hope things pick up soon though, it's getting frustrating and wish I never had the Mirena 😡😭

Yes. I had mirena for 2 years. Once removed got pregnant second cicle but end up having ectopic. Got pregnant again 5 months after with a healthy baby boy

Yep.  2 miscarriages last 2 years and now 15 months with no luck. Totally blame Mirena

I had mine removed last April, and I got pregnant in August but i ended up having a mc at 5 weeks. We've still been trying but not pregnant yet. I've also worried about mirena causing problems.

Nope, not me! I got my mirena removed and got pregnant on my second cycle.

It took me 4 month to become pregnant after it was removed... And my periods were irregular (which they never were before getting the IUD in place). I even went 2 months without a period. That being said, having Mirena  was great - 4 years period free. Go to your doctor and make sure everything is ok. Good luck!

Both myself and a coworker conceived ~3 cycles after having Mirena removed. We were both tracking our bodies with apps. In most cases hormonal bc does not have a lasting negative effect on fertility, though it can take a few months for your cycles to normalize after stopping it. If you've been trying for over a year without success it may be time to see a doctor. Good luck!

Thats how i was after i had mirena removed. Had so many complications. I hate BC ! ive read its hard to become pregnant  after it due to the hormones that it had.
