Clinic protesters?

How do you feel about people who protest outside places like Planned Parenthood? Have you ever protested at a clinic?

I was harassed by a group of protesters when I was just going into Planned Parenthood for a well woman visit during the time frame I was without insurance. I felt dirty all over having doctored photos and bullhorns shoved in my face, and I wasn't even pregnant. Maybe these people should focus more on helping pregnant people/parents and children actually have a good quality of life after birthinstead of screaming at people and shaming them.

They're disgusting. Those clinics do a lot more then abortion. They do prenatal care, pap smears, STD/STI screenings, birth control, etc...

I like to believe protesters think they're doing the right thing, but you're only going to make someone who is having a hard time feel even worse. Nobody WANTS to get an abortion. One quote I like is, "A woman wants an abortion like an animal wants to chew it's own leg off to get out of a trap."

I've seen them protest clinics that don't even do abortions. And there are obviously safety issues because it's not uncommon for them to actually threaten doctors with violence. Extremist pro-life groups--emphasis on extremist--have a known track record of bombing clinics and killing clinic workers and in my opinion the ones that do that are terrorist organizations. It's nothing new. Like another poster said, they need to worry about helping needy children that are alive now rather than scaring young women that likely aren't even there to get an abortion OR making the ones that are feel worse.

I took a friend who was getting a abortion done bc she wasn't allowed to drive afterwards and bc she really didn't need to be alone... the protesters started shouting at me saying that I was a baby killer bc I drove my friend there... I was ready to stab them. I hate them and surprised they haven't been shot at yet... im not for or against abortion.  Its ur life. Ur decision.  I always suggest adoption but again im not here to judge your decision s. Just to be a friend

They need to stop judging. Planned parenthood is a safe place for teens to get help.

I think it's their constitutional right to protest whether I believe the same as then or not. There is, however, a difference between protesting and harassment. Harassment is name calling, getting in somebody's personal space, trying to be forceful. That can quickly become an assault situation from either side. I don't care if you stand outside, hold up signs, chant a mantra, or even stop somebody politely and ask "hey, would you mind listening to my side". But if that person says "no". Then it should stop there.

They need hobbies and jobs. That's how I feel about vast majority of protesters though lol by the time I get home I'm too tired to eat, much less go out and support a cause.
