Okay so I'm 21, and I've been using tampons since 5th grade and NEVER had a problem with them. I recently just got my period (on the 30th) for the first time since having my birth control removed (on October 22nd). Tonight I was changing my tampon and went to put a new one in. Suddenly there was a sharp pain and it hurt really bad. It also hurt when I removed it and put another in before I came to bed. After I got to bed it hurt and I had to take it out and decided to use a pad. When I took it out it hurt so bad that I almost cried. I've NEVER had this happen so I don't understand what's going on.
