I went from the 2nd day after a positive opk since you o u late 24 48 hours after ... so say I got a positive on the 1st I would count 3rd as 1 dpo many go from the opk though 1 dpo after the day of positive opk

You start counting from the day after you ovulate. Hence days PAST ovulation.

It's the days you are past ovulation. So from the day you ovulate you start counting
