I will always get my husband something even if we have nothing. However he doesn't always do the same. I say I don't mind. I am not really a materialistic person but deep down I'm bothered that he doesn't even make a card or something. Yet randomly through the year he will buy stuff... I probably sound like a brat.

I'm actually so awkward when receiving gifts. I love giving them though. I will always randomly pick up random gifts for my boyfriend if I know he will like it. :) BUT at the same time I don't think it's wrong to be a little upset about not getting anything.

Im perfectly fine with not reciving anything. I understand people would rather save money and or feel like im too old for gifts
