Clear blue ovulation test!!

I tested the last several mornings and this morning I got the "peak fertility" face. I came home this afternoon and the face is still showing up on my test holder, the stick was ejected this morning after testing. Has this happened to anyone? Is it normal, will it go away or is it defective? Help!!:))
