When the OPK shows the LH surge beginning to fade again, does that mean ovulation already occurred (assuming ovulation actually happened)?

For this question, please assume ovulation IS definite. I just want to know if it would happen while LH surge is still peak or once LH surge begins to fade. Thanks!
