I'm polyamorous, but my boyfriend is monogamous. Before we started dating I enjoyed/partook in three ways and a fair amount of casual sex (no stds here) but I let him know about it before we were a thing and now I'm trying a one on one relationship. It's difficult sometimes to remind myself that I can't flirt freely, and bring in new partners to the relationship.

I'm meant to be completely monogamous. It's just how I am. But my boyfriend is utterly non-monogamous. It's just how he is.

It obviously isn't easy, but we make if work through a lot of communication, respect and trust.
