Have had crohns since I was 3 years old, currently 26. It has been a struggle my whole life, hospitalized many times but I have learned to manage my symptoms and I am now on Humira which seems to help!

me! i was just diagnosed almost 2 months ago with severe crohn’s disease and i am currently on 10mg of prednisone ( i was on 40mg but i’m currently tapering) and ill be starting remicade infusions very soon.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease this year but I also have type 1 diabetes and celiac disease. I have had two iron infusion's this year, one in may and one this month due to my Crohn's. What I am finding very difficult is what to do about my period pain. I used to take  ibuprofen but because of crohns I can't take it  anymore. Last month I was throwing up because of my period and was in agony for days, unable to get out of bed. I use to hot water bottles and hot baths but i can't take them to school.  I have been thinking about going on the pill but my mom is strongly against it because it increases your chances of depression, which I already suffer from mildly. What can I take for pain?

I'm 22 and I've had crohn's for almost 7 years now. I'm on humara right now but my symptoms are getting progressively worse. I'm out of work often for flare ups and it gets very hard to work with this disease. the only thing I've found that helps me is a lot of pressure on my abdomen and sometimes heat.

So ive just recently been diagnosed and they are still trying to work out medication and dosage and nothing seems to be working how do you girls deal with the pain right now im just sucking it up and trying to do everything best i can heat helps but i cant exactly be walking around work with a heat pack strapped to me so does anyone have any tricks or even suggestions on medication that has worked really well for you and maybe i can suggest it to my doctor
