I've about had it with my cat

My cat is and always has been SUPER needy! That's never been a huge issue until now that I'm about 12 weeks pregnant. He used to always climb in my lap when I'm lounging on the couch, but now it's like he makes a point to step on my belly/chest and it is so painful! I feel bad pushing him away but he just won't stop, and it makes me uncomfortable and it hurts to have 15lbs of pressure in those areas. Have y'all had any similar problems? How did you deal with it?
