Why are teens so unwelcome?

I know that not everyone here feels like this, but I see a lot of posts about how "scary" it is that teens have this app. I'll be honest and say that I am a teenager. I understand that a lot of women use this app to track fertility to try to get pregnant, but I think most of the teens here are using it to track periods. The community aspect is also really nice because we don't always want to talk to people about certain things in person. Being able to be sort of anonymous is really helpful and having a sense of community makes me feel great. 
However, I don't understand why some women are so concerned about teenagers having this app. Teenagers are going to have sex regardless of whether or not that have an app that lets you talk about. An app can't change that. And you can't possibly believe that a teenager who is trying to have a baby wouldn't be doing it without an app. Even teenagers don't make such big decisions based on something so trivial. 
I agree that no 15 year old girl should be trying to have a baby. I'm just saying if she's going to do it, having or not having an app like this isn't going to change anything. 
I know I said "an app" a million times, but I don't feel like rewording it. I just want to hear what people have to say. Particularly people who feel like this.

It's about maturity to me...most are beyond rude and want to fight or give out their info and threaten to cut me when I suggest what a bad idea that is. Lol, no one needs the rudebess. Sadly these girls have given them all a bad name but there also are very nice teens

If you think a young girl is ttc just don't respond. It's not hard. This is an app for tracking your cycle as well? Just because you're using a different function doesn't mean they are as well. Women can be a lil bonkers. And wtf is wrong with teenaged girls knowing about pregnancy and their cycle and bodies? People that think this app should be censored are ridiculously delusional and are stuck in the fifties. Not wanting young girls to understand and know and discuss their natural body processes. Get over yourselves.

I agree with the original poster. I'm a teenager and all I use this app for is tracking my cycle (mainly because I have such a strange cycle because of a thyroid condition) and talking to people about things I don't feel comfortable talking to my friends or my sister about. 
Teenagers are going to find every way to find out about things that "are inappropriate" for their age group. Personally, I don't think it's inappropriate. I think that the more we learn about our bodies and how things work, the better off we will all be. 
I'm sad to say that I've felt unwelcome on several occasions on this app...hopefully that will change.

I'm a teen too. And most of it isn't concern for teens using the app. The majority of what I've seen is ladies complaining to the "I'm sixteen and want a baby posts." And honestly, I agree with them

It's fine if they're here to track their periods. But it's so annoying when they're pregnant or trying to conceive. They are children, and should act like it. Instead they want to act like grown women, as if they have their entire lives together and know everything when they dont. Most Teenagers have the worst attitude, and the worst thing about that attitude is you can't tell them that they're wrong, because they don't listen. Being grown, you know that all that stuff is just a phase, and it's irritating to watch someone claim they're so different from the rest when really they're just an average dimwitted teenaged girl who THINKS she knows everything. I honestly think there should be an entire separate app for the teens who are pregnant or trying to conceive, and an entire separate app for girls tracking their periods, with a separate community for them to spew their immature questions onto. Most of us are married, well-to-to and trying for or expecting our children. We don't want to be bombarded by posts by high school and middle school aged girls asking "my period is late..:what do I do?!?" And other questions it only takes common sense and a few more years of dealing with life to answer.

This app is for everyone. If a 15 yr old is TTC its not going to be controlled by their being on here. I am an adult but I have zero desire to TTC and I have been on tracking sites since I was 11.

There's just way too much information and helping them on their merry way ... too much tmi and too much stuff that a teen shouldn't know ... its all well and good using for periods and such and nothing will stop them planning babies, but the reaction of most on here surely must put stress on them and it isn't really necessary ,that's my view I think the app should be censored for teens and they shouldn't beable to access all the information and too much information on here, some things a young teen really shouldn't even know about on here .... I don't think they shouldn't be allowed I just think it should be a restricted content

Teenagers on here is fine. You're choosing to be informed about your body. 
Also, I lost my virginity at 15 and I've never regretted it. I feel as long as they are educated and are being smart then let the teenies be together! Just please don't forget a condom.

I can understand you in some way I remember when I was in my early teens I was so scared that I would leak all through my trousers!! I would of loved a app where I could check so I wasn't paranoid 20/4/7 so yeah not all teenagers I think would be on here ttc.

I don't have any problems with teenagers using this app but I do have issues when I see teenagers post about TTC or thinking they "have it all together" and are ready for a baby. It also scares me how uneducated some women (of any age) are on here. Do schools not teach sex ed anymore?  I just wish that people would do themselves a favor and read a book and educate themselves on how their bodies work. This is a great women's community app but you shouldn't be relying on it to teach you about life, sex, pregnancy, your body, or relationships. Love yourself and take care of yourself!
