Do I Need to call My nurse?!

Question

So yesterday I was out shopping for about 4 hrs. Then when I came back home I was on feet for the n2-3 hours arranging dinner and doing house work.

At night I started to have very strong Braxton Hicks contractions, I believe I had about more than 8 in an hour. I lied down and had water. In about 1 hr 30 mins they did subside.

But I do have back pain and pressure in my pelvic region. Do I need to call the nurse and tell her all this? Confused :-/

Same thing happened to me yesterday after a full day out and a pretty tough run.  I was concerns and even began timing them, but after finally chilling out for 2 hours and drinking some water they went away.  I think it's pretty normal, just out body's way of warning us that we need to relax!

I've had them too... I had very bad Braxton hicks but I figured out I needed more water. 128 oz which is a gallon. They have gotten better with my drinking this much. Your uterus is a muscle and will contract if it doesn't have enough water. Drink up. However, I would call just to be safe and make sure! The back and pelvic region would make me a little worried

I have had that happen!  My doctor told me today if they are consistently every 15 minutes or more then go to the dr.  He also said Tylenol and a warm bath are ok and help with those a lot!

Wouldn't hurt to call, if nothing else she could at least reassure you. I text my doc all the time with random questions or needing reassurance.
