How long did it take for your milk to come in?

This is a tricky question because the first milk you make is colostrum. And it is in as soon as you birth your baby sometimes before. The milk changes color and consistency between 1-5 days and this is what most people refer to as thier milk coming in. But all of your baby's nutritional needs are being met with the colostrum so there is no need to supplement while you are waiting for your mature milk to come in. Your milk changes consistency multiple times as your baby grows too!! Breast milk is so neat that your body can produce just what your baby needs!!

I began breast feeding within 3 hours of giving birth.. The colostrum comes out first.. Which is all they need. But the very next day I heard him gulping.. So my milk came down fast

5 days with my first, 3 with my second. Stay in bed with you and the baby topless and it will come in quicker xx
