Same, I would be happy to adopt from the beginning but my DH feels it would not feel like his...:( I feel Iike there are so many babies out there who need a home!

We are about to adopt a 5 year old girl. Been Ttcing for 3 years (one miscarriage last year). Started our adoption journey jan 2013

I am but my husband is not so I doubt we would go that route. I would not push him to do something he doesn't want to do that would be such a life changing decision for us.

If it isn't in the cards for us biological we would adopt.  We have discussed it, but still want to try for biological first.

You can also "adopt" donated embryos. It gives women the chance to still carry a child and have that bond but it's just not biologically related. I will be doing this process if we can't conceive because IVF with my own eggs isn't an option because of ovary placement and donor eggs are actually 2x the $$ as the embryo adoption.
