Chem. Pregnancy in Dec, Pregnant Again
Suffered a chemical pregnancy in December (first time trying, first pregnancy). I was 5w1D and had pretty consistent cramping and was ridiculously bloated before I started bleeding.
I had one normal period and hubby and I tried again. Day of my birthday (Feb. 7th) I started spotting brown, thinking it was my period I put a tampon in and went about my business. When I removed the tampon there was barely anything on it.
Took a test on the 8th (FRER) as I was still spotting (brown) and had two very distinct lines. I wasn't expecting for any test to come back positive because we only tried once and I was convinced it was after I ovulated.
Anyhow, I still have intermittent cramping and occassionaly when I wipe, brown blood. From what I have read, implantation bleeding typically only lasts 1-2 days. This would be day 3.
Boobs are still sore and I've been lightheaded and a digital test taken this morning confirmed the FRER I took the other day.
I haven't made an appointment with the OB/Mid-wife yet because last time I had to call and cancel and almost broke down crying.
So I guess my question is, when did you feel like you were in the clear and could make your appointment? And how long did implantstion bleeding last (if you had any at all)? And when did you start to "feel pregnant"?
This being our second attempt, we know whatever happens was meant to happen and that we still have time.. But I am so incredibly nervous that things will end up the same way they did in December. The heartbreak, even if I was only a little ways along, was overwhelming.
