So I used to have the mirena and loved it but my body didn't and pushed it out of where it was supposed to be. So I got on the patch and gained soooo much weight like 40 pounds in 3 months! So I was off birth control for about 8 months now. But me and my boyfriend have decided we wanted to stop using condoms and get on birth control. My doctor told me about the implanon. I know I'm going to like it because it is like the mirena in a way but I am so nervous about getting it put in. So my question is for those who have it how bad is the getting it put in process?
