Hmm I think the fact that there is pressure to do it consecutively for a few days in a row at fertile time makes to seem like a chore. Esp after a 12hr work day! Most days we are so tired we hit the bed and are out like a light. And 'scheduling' sex in just makes it seem very orchestrated!! Sometimes I look at people with babies around and think 'where did you find the time!' 😀

My SO loves it, lol! He's checking my chart all the time. Im pretty sure he'd like ttc for as long as possible. I'm still enjoying it at the mo but I can see how it would become a chore.

For me, it will always be a chore. For some reason, sex has always been painful for me in the beginning. And no, it's not a matter of proper foreplay, it's just how I am, my body just does not relax down there (I can't use tampons most days for the same reason); after a couple minutes it will feel "okay"- but it takes a real long while for it to be better than just "okay". I hate that it's like this for me, and I hate that it takes TTC for my poor husband to get any. When I first started having sex it was never like that, I don't know if it's a mental thing from a few bad relationships or not, but it sucks.
