Digital test sensitivity?!

Okay so I just read it in that the digital tests are for people who are further along in pregnancy and aren't as sensitive. 
I'm confused because I got my very first bfp this month  with a digital and according to the app I was only 3w5d when I took them. 
Is it possible that maybe I'm further along than I thought, or maybe twins?

I got bfp on cheap strips and on a clearblue plus at 3+2 (12dpo) and then that same evening I used a digital and got bfp '1-2 weeks', which means 3 wks. 
Had hcg levels checked the following morning (3+3) by blood and they came out at 86. I think it just depends if your hcg is on the high side or not, or you could be further along. Apparently hcg at 3+5 can be anywhere between 0-50 and at 4+0 can be 50-100. I suppose there is always the chance of twins but we won't know that until we get scanned in a few weeks or more. My doctor has said he can't be sure of my dates as I conceive on the pill but I have a feeling I have them more or less correct at the moment (4+1 today).

I think the digital reads hcg at 50, some of the other tests read between 10-25....so i don't think it means you are having twins, just that your hcg is good :) my hcg at 3w4d ish was 128 :) good luck!!!!

I had that happen too. I took a clear blue digital at 8 dpo and it came out positive. I also thought that digital tests weren't as sensitive so I'm not sure why it came out positive that early. I'm having my first ultrasound tomorrow so who knows, could be twins but I kinda doubt it lol.
