Can you get a pedicure?

I am 18 weeks pregnant and i have heard u can not get pedicures while pregnant... is that true?

You can. Just make sure room is well ventilated and clean tools are used to avoid infections.

They are fine. The people working there know not to rub certain pressure points that can cause early labor. Pamper yourself. I went and got one today

I got a pedicure the week before my due date , sent me into early labour , for two weeks I was stuck in the early stages of labour , not a fun experience . Finally the day before I was to be induced she decided to make an appearance . I definitely say pamper yourself , being pregnant is hard enough , you should be able to make yourself feel better :)

It's because of certain pressure points they may massage during the pedicure than can cause people to go into early labor. Same reasons they avoid certain spots and don't press certain areas too hard or too much during prenatal massages.
