Vbac? Let's talk about healing.

Ok so hang with me here. I have a lot to say.
So I had a c section with my first. I STILL have fat and skin hanging out on me and nothing I seem to do helps out. When we found out we will be having baby number two I was horrified and excited. It took me so long and I tried so hard to get to where I'm at. I'm worried I'll be even worse then before. So my firend had a baby vaginally and she's already snaped back two months in to it. We have the same about diet we gained about the same baby weight. My baby was a little bigger but the only difference was she had a vaginal delivery and a smaller baby.
Ok so let me get to it. My son was estimated to be 10 to 12 lbs my doctor encouraged me to push but she was bluntly honest with me that she will have the room preped and ready for a c section. Idk if my frame couldn't handle it or what.
Well a year later we are pregnant again she told me I would have to wait 3 years to try vbac. So if I had or asked for once I would be taking kind of a risk. I've hear of story's of births going fine less then 3 years. What I want to know is if it's worth the risk body wise other then all the other benefits of a vaginal delivery. Do people that have vaginal deliveries heal better and snap back better then Women who have c sections?
