When to let everyone know your pregnant?

Question

I'm 9 weeks today and really want to let everyone know today what do you guys think? I have already had a ultrasound and have heard the heart twice now. I have my second dr visit in 3 weeks when I'm 12 weeks. Should I go ahead and tell everyone now or would it be smart for me to wait?

We did ours Monday and were 8 wks. We want to celebrate and not worry about "what could happen". Every life is worth celebrating when you're super excited about it

I say go ahead! We just did ours on Tuesday when I was 10w2d! It was amazing to finally let everyone know!!

I've told immediate family and I'm a little over 9 weeks. We're waiting till 12 weeks to announce to everyone because we did have a mc at 7 weeks. It was pretty traumatizing having to tell people we lost the baby. We did hear the heartbeat at 8 weeks and everything looked great but we'll wait for our 12 weeks appointment to tell the world.

I'm waiting to tell the majority of people. Chances are, everything will be great, and these will be healthy babies. But, unfortunately there is still a chance of miscarriage during the 1st trimester. For me, I've told people who I would be okay with knowing if I had a MC (I had one before my first which likely influences my response). Only you'll know what's right, and it's very exciting news to share!

I announced at 9 weeks. I've already had 2 u/s and heard the heartbeat twice as well!

My mother posted at barely 4 weeks on Facebook with our first. Everything turned out fine. This time we have waited a little longer, mostly because I'm not ready for the flood of "Another? Already? Wow that was fast!" Comments. But we are announcing tomorrow and I'm 9 weeks. So whenever you're ready!

I personally felt that even if I miscarried its still part of my story and my journey to so I told be besties and the family right away and the rest of the world this week (9wks).
