Hey everyone out there! We did it I just wanted to tell you anything is possible when you believe and want it bad enough.. I started glow almost a year ago and you all have welcomed me and helped me.  So I thought I would post an update. I recently turned 40 and my partner and I of 10 years just found out that were finally after 5 attemps finally pregnant!! with our first! (held out to 12dpo and took 6 different tests) We had tracking and using bbt since last April when we knew we wanted to take the next step. Used Calendars charts and vitex chasteberry. Through another lesbian couple who coached us we found a donor and decided to try at home 3 failed attempts. alhough we wanted to try to concieve our child in our home it just didnt work for us and neither did the vitex . my only regret is that we didn't seek a doctors help sooner...we had great insurance (so we thought and decided to go straight to injectables)  . Well it turns out the insurance agency turned against us because of our sexuality (still fighting) and we paid everything out of pocket we scraped and saved but it was well worth it. 3 months of needles and an emotional roller coaster and 7 viles of our frozen donor later our little bean is growing! It was the last vile of our donor and it worked!! My partner had a liver transplant 20 years ago its risky for her to carry and werent sure if she was ready and our donors occupation listed was that he was currently working in optamology harvesting pupils for organ donation! Its truley a gift from god.  There was so much that felt different this time we swore we wouldnt obsess on symptoms but there was bloating, constipation, minor cramping, 7 dpo implant spotting, horrible horrible gas and soooo fatique. We also came straight home from <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> that morning and had an orgasm! Which may have helped those swimmers just keep swimming. We had a confirmed test this morning with great blood work for 4 weeks progestrone 80 and hcg of 241. I only hope and pray for a successful 9 months and for you all to know your not alone its tough but don't give up.  We are so excited to be moms! Thank you all and all of our best!
