Help!

So I have a crush on this guy, lets call him Z. So Z is in a few of my classes and I decided to start being social with him. We would make small talk every once and a while. Sometimes he would lean over and see what I was listening to because we are both music lovers. Oh, and also I was showing him a drawing of Ariana Grande I made and his friend kept making playful jokes to him while we were standing with each other like, "Oh, who's this? What are you doing?" I swear, Z blushed and then he told me I was a good artist and we both blushed and said good bye.

Anyway, we have English together and we did skits and everytime he went up to the front of the classroom, I gave him a high five and he would stand by me 😊 So we did a skit together where I had to pretend I was giving birth to his baby and it was really awkward because the teacher picked the topic. So after that, I was walking out to the bus and saw him with my arms wide. He thought I was going to give him a high five but instead he was like, "Oh, Is this a hug?"

And I said, "Yeah." And we hugged and we exchanged "good job's" and "bye's". So I go to school the next day and my friend said that Z said that I came and randomly hugged him, nonchalantly.

Now, I can't look Z in the eye because I think I made everything awkward by hugging him. Like the whole day today, I didn't talk to him and I wish he would just start the conversation without me having to... Can you guys list some things in the comments that I could talk about with him or give a comment of advice on what you think I should do? It's greatly appreciated 😄☺
