I'm at university and a student representative for my course. There are 12 of us and we've all added each other on Facebook to keep in touch about rep stuff.

Before I was elected as a rep there was this guy on the course who I thought was a little odd but it was just a gut feeling and I'd never met him so I didn't want it to cloud my judgement. He was also elected as a rep but I still felt uncomfortable around him so never spoke to him face-to-face.

He messaged me on Facebook after the first meeting just asking how I was doing and we had a chat. He made some odd comment about being there for me(see photo #1) if the course was hard but I didn't think much of it because he's from Dubai so I assumed it was just the different culture.

A couple times after that he tried to start conversations on Facebook and once or twice I went with it but I was usually too busy for a chat so just ignored him cause he'd only send "hey".

Out of nowhere though I got these messages *SEE PHOTOS 2+3*

What. The. Fuck.

I feel like my reply was slightly harsh but I freaked out and wanted to make it clear that I had ZERO interest in the guy. Not even as just a friend. We have nothing in common. We've never spoken in person. Conversations weren't even flirty, I was just replying to be polite.

What would you do? My friends have all just laughed about it because they told me I was overreacting when I initially said I had a weird gut feeling around him but this proved them wrong. It's freaked me out and I'm worried rep meetings are going to be weird as hell. I'm thinking of talking to the student contact and asking her to make sure I'm never asked to do anything with him as a rep but I don't know how she'll take it :/
