People really do enter those relationships because that is what they like. It is agreed by both parties so people need to get off their high horses. Everything isn't the way each individual thinks it should be.

Sure women can read and watch all the porn/whatever they want. The movie is already out as are the books so they can't be brought down, but it's aggravating to see so many encourage and seek out an abusive relationship like what the characters have. 
If the books and film actually displayed genuine BDSM AND a safe relationship they'd have been way better, but I'll never support something that teaches the more impressionable people that being abused and/or controlling is okay and "romantic".
