Anyone else not registering?

I don't think I'm going to be registering.. Just because we've already bought the crib and dresser. My mom, his mom, and my grandma are getting the rest of the big stuff (stroller, car seat, bedding, pack n play, etc..). I feel like most showers I've gone to people don't really go off your registry anyways.. They just get clothes or blankets that kind of stuff. Are there gonna be people that just don't know what to get though.. Hmm.

I honestly never heard anyone doing that before,I guess it's different everywhere :) I am too young to have a child but I have been to many baby showers! People usually bring clothes,bibs,and pacifiers :) the fathers usually have a diaper party!!

I've never not purchased from a registry. It's especially important when you already have some major items, that way you're not getting the same stuff over and over. I agree that everyone always get clothes so I wouldn't register for clothes but would register for items like bottles, pacifiers, play mats, baby baths, washcloths, towels, swadlers, burp clothes, blankets, gas drops, baby soap, lotion, butt cream, diaper bag, and items you would like but wouldn't necessary buy yourself.

I'm doing a registry for the discounts Baby R Us gives you! I know it's kinda silly but especially for the big ticket iteans 20-30% off helps! Idc if anyone buys from it or not.

I'm registering, Babies R Us has a great registry program that offers you 5-10% back on everything purchased and they send you coupons right before your baby is born to complete your registry.
I already know whose purchasing big items and I have put them on my list so I can get cash back.
I also think it helps with making sure my family members (who are competitive in gift giving) don't get the same gift.

I always buy off someone's registery! For me, it helps to see what they would really like and then buy something in the price range I was looking to spend. On my own registry, I only put low ticket items. Nothing expensive that I wouldn't buy someone else. I think it's just a preference and either way you are good :-)

I still registered and got about 3-4 things off my 5 page registry list lol people definitely love to get the cute little outfits, especially if it's a girl!! My family had already bought the bigger more expensive items so I'm pretty much all set, I just need nursing stuff.

If someone is throwing you a shower, I would. Just add little things you prefer like a specific brand of diapers, wipes, bath supplies...just little odds and ends so people feel like they're getting you want you want/need instead of trying to guess 😊

I feel like you're more likely to have to rush around trying to buy stuff you didn't get at your shower. You need a lot more than just the big stuff..things people wouldn't think about unless you registered for {pee pads, towels, hangers, etc}. And I'm very specific about the type of diapers I want {I spent a lot of time researching because me and all my siblings have very sensitive skin} and also, I'm breast feeding but still want a few bottles {again, VERY specific about what type}. But, I guess, if it works for you lol! :)
