Should I keep on liking this boy? (Give me your opinion on this situation too)

We've been friends since 9th grade. I'm a junior now and I confessed to him last year on Valentine's Day. Since then we couldn't hang out or speak to each other in our usually manner because we end of feeling awkward. I do try my best in just playing around normally and stuff. There were times where we just played, helped, messed with each other after the confession like: Marker Fights, Acting, going to extracurricular activities, schoolwork.
