Fertility Drugs Anyone??

So I have a friend that has diabetes and we were discussing her med management. She the told me that one of her prescriptions can also be utilized for fertility boosting. It's called metfromin. Has anyone used it or have any experience with anything similar?

Metformin is a diabetic medication. bc it helps with insulin resistance by improving insulin in the body, it aids in fertility for those of us that have PCOS or are insulin resistant. Clomid acts entirely differently-it triggers your pituitary (brain gland) to secrete the necessary hormones for follicle development.
