Pain- avoid carbs(increase inflammation), take nsaid's (ibuprofen / asprin) carefully  and in moderation for they can cause stomach ulcers.

Bloating- probiotics! Life changing and they come in gummies. 
Sometimes a TINY pinch of baking soda will help dissolved in water before drinking.

The pill is the best I think! It helps with cramps and im not sure about bloating but it also prevents pregnancy :)

Depo worked best for me. One shot every 3 months instead of trying to remember a pill everyday. I didn't have any pain while on depo but I had horrible side effects and bleeding for a straight month after getting the shot.  I just recently quit taking the pills. I experienced spotting frequently with the pills and still had a lot of pain but no side effects even close to what I experienced with depo. As far as preventing pregnancy,no birth control is 100%. The only way to prevent it is to not have sex at all. But on top of using birth control use a condom every time. My best friend has 2 children she got pregnant with while on birth control.

The Depo worked for me I believe I was on for about 6 years had my son and went back on. I had no weight issues like most people. My doctor called me lucky.
