Oops. What do I do now?
We didn't know that the officiant and premarital counselor were supposed to be the same person.
We asked our current pastor to be our premarital counselor.
We asked the pastor who knew us when we first started dating to be our officiant.
I think they assume they are both ... We feel really bad we love them both.
How do we keep them happy, keep them as their current separate roles, and let them know what happened?
I know it sounds stupid but we are young (early 20s) and we are the first of our friends to get married in the US and didn't know the cultural aspect, although I should've known I lived here my entire life.
