Baby laundry Detergent????

Hi ladies what does everyone use for baby laundry detergent? Do you wash new baby clothes as you get it or right before the baby comes ? Also can you use any fabric softener or do I have to find a baby safe one ?

I washed everything as I got it, folded it and put it away. I like to be prepared though! After looking into a lot of detergents, I chose All Free & Clear. It's worked great & I plan on doing the same with this baby. No fabric softener 😊

I haven't bought anything yet but we use All Free Clear for ourselves and I'm sure it will be fine for baby too 😊

But I'm sure any free clear detergent would work too. I wasn't sure about Dreft but I smelled it at BJ's the other week and was turned off by the strong scent.

What about the age old classic Ivory Snow? FTM here... My mom swore by it for us, but it's so damn expensive!

Hello. I washed them as it got closer to when my first baby was born but I don't think it matters. As far as the baby detergent I used dreft at first because it says it for babies. Well it had a lot of fragrance to it. And if your baby had sensitive skin it's not that good. So I ended up getting All free and clear and for fabric softeners I got the bounce that are free and clear. So it doesn't have any wonderful smell to it. The All free and clear is what our pediatrician recommend
