Second child, second cesarean?

I'm pregnant with my second child and I'm wondering if I have to have another c-section because of the one I had in my previous birth. Have any of you experienced this? I'm going to ask my doctor on Tuesday, I just wanted opinions from people who have been through it. Thanks (:

I want another csection but alot of people try the vbac i would suggest just do your research on both csection and VBAC  and see which is better for you.

It depends how far apart your pregnancies are my first was a c section and my daughter will be 21/2 when I am due wit my second and it's gonna be a planned c section

I wanted to VBAC this time but I'm afraid of having a uterine tear or hemorrhage after birth so I'm opting for a scheduled csection in June. It's the safest route since my first was an emergency csection.

Had an emergency c section on my first so don't know what to do with second.
I'm only 6 weeks along yet so I guess I'll see what happens as the pregnancy progresses, how I feel, what doctors advise etc. There is only going to be 21 months between deliveries so I think it'll end up being a section again as the risk of uterine rupture is higher with a small gap

It is possible to do a vbac after a c section my dr asked did I want to do it but I chose to have another section since I was having twins and it wind up being the best decision because my first twin was in the same breach position as my first son so had to have one anyway

I have to have the second c section because in the state of fl law says a doc has to present the whole labor for a vbac. Only one doc In the whole area does this and she doesn't take my insurance 😕 so I'm stuck.

I had a c section with my first and am currently 6 weeks pregnant with my second. I haven't had my first appointment with my OB but the nurse practitioner told be it would only be possible for me to have a vbac if a bunch of different factors lined up (positioning of baby, when I went into labor, if I had to be induced or not, etc). I think it just really depends on why you had your first c section and if it was an issue that could be resolved.
