Middle cycle/implantation bleeding!? What do you think?
Hi, I'm a lab tech and I work in the medical field. One of the perks of getting to work in my lab is that if we don't feel right down there, we have the means to collect our own specimens and run them in our lab. More specifically urinalysis and basically wet smears. It's also extremely helpful that we have a microscope used to look through urine sediment and vaginal collections!
With that said:
I'm 4dpo and aside from the cramping going on my left side (which I believe to be caused by progesterone) I ended up doing a UA on my own wet smear and having our machine analyse it. According to our machine it looks like there's some bleeding going on way up there. Out of the options of our machine, it could've read: negative, trace, 1+,2+ or 3+. I'm a 2+. I confirmed this by taking a look at myself under the microscope where I saw red blood cells hanging out too, along with a couple of my boyfriend's swimmers. When I'm normally looking at wet smears, unless a patient is menstruating, you won't see blood. Other things, but not blood. Could this be implantation bleeding or just wishful thinking?
