Which name? Stuck on the middle name.

James after my father, his middle name. Scott, his middle name, after my brother who passed. 
Press just because I like it and it's different. Thoughts? 
And no I don't like Jamie or anything that isn't Emma for the first name. I've had this convo many times lol. Thanks for your thoughts!

It's a middle name... I see no issue with using James or Scott. No one makes a deal over last names not being feminine... It's also in honor of a loved one. Personally, I like it. I chose James.

I love that you are honoring family! I love the sound of Emma Scott best, but love that Emma James honors your dad. Both are also last names and it is very traditional to have a middle name that is a family last name (mother's maiden name, grandma's middle name, etc), so she would not be out of the norm. Congrats!

I don't think you should give a baby girl a boys name as a middle name. She will be made fun of by friends and peers. I understand the sentiment of naming after your dad but it's not fair to your daughter. Wait til you have a boy to do that, or call your girl Emma Jamie if u want to use the name. Just my opinion but think about her in the future
