So I go to my dr apt today for my glucose tolerance test thinking ugh I have to drink that stuff. I don't like orange drinks.. And I had gastric bypass almost 9 years ago and still I only eat up to 3 oz at a time. The bottle is 10 ozs..Well I get this stuff down in record time and within the hour I am sick as a dog!!! Nurse does bloodwork and not only does she tell me I have to come back Thursday for the 3 hour test and then my iron is so low I have to call my oncologist and go in for iron infusion therapy. Hopefully I will pass this 3 hour test and the next 10 weeks of iron therapy will go by quickly.
