Can reading erotica ruin a relationship?

Does anyone think that reading erotica can ruin a relationship? 
I personally like reading erotica but it seems like my fiancé gets jeolous. Sometimes he will ask me questions like " Are all the guys handsome" " Are they always rich" "Is  that what you want". Questions that seem like he doesn't like me reading that stuff.
I love my fiancé so much and I find him so attractive.i don't want him to think that the guys in the books are better or more attractive then him, becasue there not.
Those books are just a hobbie for me. And now I feel bad that I read them. 
So i had a lot of books in my kindle that I bought and some that he got me that I've been collecting over the past year. I felt really bad one day and I deleted all of them from my kindle. I did it becasue I didn't want him to feel bad anymore or to think that what I read is what I want him to be like or to act like. 
Believe me it was hard to delete those books. 
So I finally told him I deleted all the books and he was upset about it and he said that it was a hobbie to me and that he didn't mind. But really I think he does mind. I miss my books so much it's been like two weeks or so without them. I want to go back and read more but I dont want him to feel bad about himself if I do read them again. So I'm asking you lady's if you gals could give me some advice or something please. Sorry so long

Tell him that you get creative ideas done it. And it's not the characters at all but when you read it you think about doing that stuff with him.

Reading erotica is similar to watching porn. It's only harmful if you start to view it as reality. Both are fiction and if consumed that way, it's probably fine.

Talk to him about your concerns and let him know how you feel.
