Double wedding?

Question

Under the right circumstances, would you ever consider a double wedding?

My big sister and I are both engaged, on a similar timeline and share nearly identical visions of our dream wedding.  A duel ceremony would save so much money and lessen the burden on our enormous family (in terms of travel, etc).  Plus we love to share and our fiancés' are totally on board with the idea.

If it's something you both are comfortable and excited to do, then do it! That could be very special for you and your sister :) I think it's awesome that you're close enough to each other that you'd even consider it!
I personally wouldn't, just because there's no one in my life I'm close enough with.

I voted hell no, but only because my sisters and his are huge drama queens and would completely ruin everything. I'm the laid back one who likes sweet and simple. The rest of them are nuts and all about HUGE EXPENSIVE things... Not me, not for me lol

But no way in hell would I share a wedding as the bride, I want my day to be a princess, I want to be the only bride, the only one wearing a gorgeous white dress.

There's this superstition that one couple of the two getting married will get divorced so no thank you. Not taking chances ;)

If you all agree on the same things and it will really save money(will there be more guests? Is so more guests means for food), then go for it.

If you mesh that well, it sounds like a good idea. Weddings are so expensive. It seems like a good financial choice.

If you guys want to do it, go for it! I personally wouldn't because I'd like one day in my life where it's about me (mostly...we all know weddings are about the brides! lol). I've never been one to get attention, my sister always had to steal it, so I'd like my own day :)
